Sunday Jan 25, 2014 Time 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Place Washington School gym		"The Architectural Community Workshop" Using LEGO Building Blocks This benefit for The Summit Historical Socie ty is the brainchild of Stephen W. Schwartz, AIA, Architect. Particpant teams are assigned an historical building in or close to downtown. They are given a set of LEGO blocks to use to replicate the building's facade. Team registration information will be available.

Sunday March 10, 2013 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.		A Taste of Summit, at The Grand Summit Hotel The Taste of Summit is the annual benefit hosted by the Summit Historical Society,. More than a 18 local restaurants and food purveyors are planning to take part in the event.


October 19-20, 2013		Four Centuries in a Weekend Sponsored by The Union County Cultural Heritage Commission Tour historic buildings throughout Union County, including Summit's Carter House and the Summit Playhouse. The Carter House will be open 10/13 from 10-5 and Sunday 10/14 from 12-5
